CePT Seminar "Nano-biomaterials, modeling and visualization in biomechanics "

We cordially invite to our Centre for Preclinical Research and Technology (CePT) Seminar on July 6th. 12.30 - 6.00 p.m At the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, Pawińskiego 5 B, 02-106 Warszawa. The Seminar will be satellite meeting to the 3rd National Conference on Nano and Micromechanics (KKNM2012) which will be held from the 4 to 6 July 2012, at IPPT PAN, Warszawa, Poland.

The main aim of the Seminar is presentation/discussion of new research opportunities emerging in laboratories modernized in the framework of CePT, as well as integration of scientists related or interested in having relation with CePT project. CePT project is the biggest biomedical and biotechnological undertaking in Central and Eastern Europe. Its aim is to create a dynamic scientific centre consisting of closely cooperating environmental research centers. The combination of the potential of outstanding scientists and the opportunities provided by infrastructure of well equipped state-of-the-art core-facility research laboratories: physical and chemical laboratories (UW), biomolecular and biotechnological facilities (UW, PAN, WUM), biomedical engineering and biomaterial technology laboratories (PW, PAN), units conducting preclinical research on animal models of diseases associated with the progress of civilization (PAN, WUM), as well as specialized base for clinical research provided by the WUM, creates an unique possibility of holistic/interdisciplinary approach to the problems related to various civilization diseases.

During the seminar we plan to present research opportunities in the framework of CePT Project highligted by several lectures of outstanding scientists. We hope that discussions as well as integration of scientists from various research units will help in successful development of the CePT ideas.
